Started working at 7:30, finished at 21:25. Shitty day, dead tired.

I was moving around some boxes in my storage room, and ended up looking at this #commodorepet chassis I put on a shelf and forgot for ages. More than 10y now.
It's a (mostly) empty shell, literally recovered in a junkyard, semi-submerged by other garbage. No motherboard in it, nor keyboard. And someone had this brilliant idea of painting it gold.
I decided to order a #minipet kit + keyboard from Tynemouth software to restore it. I'll probably also have to find a way to replace the CRT, as I don't expect it to have survived being thrown in the trash.Ah, I'll also have to remove the painted gold horror somehow.
