I urge everyone remotely interested in high quality #retro games, to go out and buy #MinaTheHollower on May 29th. It's cheap (20 bucks), available on all platforms, and high quality. The game is like a mix of #Castlevania and #TheLegendOfZelda #LinksAwakening and has been under development for the past 4-5 years. The developer #YachtClubGames are in a dire financial situation and needs this game to succeed. Let's make this a win!

Talking about games:
I FINALLY played the demo to "The Eternal Life of Goldman".
I was looking forward to the game for quite a while and still do. A metroidvania with SUCH an awesome artstyle and animations!
The backgrounds could very well be cartoons on their own, and I'd watch them!

Yacht Club Games est sur un Shovel Knight en 3D depuis longtemps, mais le studio a mis une partie des équipes sur Mina… repoussé à « plus tard, on fignole le jeu ».
Les équipes reprendront Shovel Knight 3D en 2026, si Mina se vend suffisamment (sinon, game over du studio).
Le problème des yachts, c’est que c’est lent, et cher. Courage aux 15 employés restants en crunch !

The Mina the Hollower demo is now on Xbox (only until September 30!) so even though I played the demo some on the Switch, I figured I'd try some of this Xbox version on the Series X at lunch, and glad I did. Nice to use a controller for it instead of Switch joycons, for one. I guess I could've put the Switch version on the TV and used the wireless PowerA controller with it. But oh well. Anyway, if you have an Xbox, you should try this game, it's a blast. The full version comes out October 31 on all consoles.

Okay, finished the first playthrough of the demo.
I like it. A little bit too much damage from falling into pits, if you ask me, but overall a very nice game, I'm looking forward to it, I think.
