25 years ago tonight! There's a lot of people making light of the fact that, after all the hype and awareness campaigns like the video below, nothing actually happened. I was part of the grind to get everything fixed in time so I can confidently say that nothing happened because millions of programmers did their job with rigour. Stop making fun of it! Was it just #1999 and the first weeks of #2000 when the general populace was concerned about the #y2kBug aka the #milleniumBug? Or did it worry people for longer than that?
I feel like I should know it better, but it's almost 2 decades ago and I was about 16 at the start of 2000 and was probably keeping myself occupied with other things.#y2k38Bug #y2k38Problem #RandomThoughts
