Cell service at #MidOhio was terrible so I didn't post any updates from the race. It was a fun one, though, and I took tons of pictures. Here's some good ones.

The IndyCar mobile app now includes the super-capacitor status. Green lightning bolt icon indicates charging/energy recovery. Purple fast-forward icon indicates discharging/deploying the electric boost.

With the exception of the first lap incident, the entire rest of the race was green and only one car failed to finish the race. A pretty clean race by IndyCar standards.
Alex Palou is just dominating the series this year.

I'm watching this race and thinking about the #F1 race this morning. Mid-Ohio possesses the solution to "track limits". There is no runoff. Not a wall, but the track ends and grass is right there. This means keeping the car on the track is the fastest way around the lap.
