Looks like congress is going to slip in a big surveillance state expansion into the military funding bill, to pass it this coming Thursday, I'm hoping it'll all be blocked though. #warrantless_surveillance #MICC

I actually do consider myself a fiscal conservative and in that vein believe that any and every agency that hasn't passed an audit together with any and all agencies that cannot show public benefits to the masses of people who live in the USA should be either eliminated completely or face dramatic cuts, which is to say The Pentagon, CIA, FBI, NSA, NIA, ICE & the DHS should be eliminated with the entire defense department - mainly the regular military getting dramatically cut in it's budget. Likewise we should be switching congress to a per diem pay schedule and off of salaries, with pension removal and rolled over into the standard SS retirement system. When those benefits were put in place they were commonly had by workers but now they're nearly non-existent.

I still likewise believe #UBI but not as a small amount given as a #CDBC but rather at as a long-term livable amount of money that would be sent out as direct deposits to banks or credit unions of people's choices and hold an option that if some want paper checks or cash direct, that they'd be allowed to pickup said money's in person at their nearest post office. This could be connected to reopening postal banking or not, giving people choices being the most important part of this. An amount
