Well, new grill arrived and is on, saves roughly an inch in depth, couldn't go too much shallower given the excursion so... 'optimal'.
Therefore, final cleanups - put some protective edging on metal anywhere wires pass, added a disconnect so can trunk the subwoofer without bare wires hanging about, taped up the wiring under the dash so less conspicuous.
And with that, the #MiataBox install in the #Miata is complete.
