Interesting: The number of traffic incident YTD (including video reports) to the #MetPlod is down 4% vs last year (my latest reference has a lower number vs one file at a similar time last year).
I have done way less report than last year since #MetPlod are now requiring that you stay silent as someone tries to run you over

The stats (numbers of cyclists submitting video footage of poor driving to the police have doubled from 7,249 in 2021 to 15,779 in 2024, according to a FOI) does not include #METPlod.
They mention "poor driving". I do wonder if that includes mobile phone offenses or just close passes? I mostly report the earlier to #MetPlod as they rarely go after the rest.
What's your experience?
