Spent a fab day with my grandkid yesterday, beating the heat. He was a wonderful carwash assistant, helping me to vacuum all of the needles out of my car after my #camping #roadtrip and we did ALL of the NYT puzzles, including the Sunday crossword. Now, we've booked an adventure at the end of the month at #MétisCrossing, where we'll camp and then take an SUV tour of their #bison paddocks, where they reportedly have at least one #WhiteBison. Should be great.

I'm heading on Wednesday to #SVIAlberta, looking to build some connections with the energetic community that is the #Alberta #SocialVenture scene powered by #BeLocal and #Momentum. It'll be at #MétisCrossing, the first major #Métis cultural interpretive centre in #Alberta, located north of #Edmonton near #SmokeyLake. I will learn the proper land acknowledgements this weekend, but it is Michif Piyii Métis and perhaps #Cree and #Stoney.
