Menfolk, see when you're messaging male friends to arrange something - trip to the pub or whatever - do you feel the need to conform to this weirdly terse way of speaking that includes only the key information and almost nothing else? In other situations I'm normally very chatty but I end up virtually monosyllabic in these sorts of exchanges and I don't really know why. Maybe it's not a gender thing at all, I dunno. Just me?
