(I have to admit I don't like メロンソーダ all that much though, it's too sweet for me 😁).

I got hungry & the 7-11 at our last bus stop here in Hiroshima Japan had both "kinako mochi" & "melon soda", fan-favorites of our family.
Normally, I don't like pre-packaged mochi which is what is sold at the bus stops but damn, this is GOOD.

We interrupt this garden/shrine/cultural tour of Japan to bring you... "omu rice with kushikatsu pork in a demi glaze sauce" with a glass of "melon soda".
My kid loves this melon soda BTW.

(this is where I wheel out one of my favourite ever live sessions).Ironically I don't particularly like Melon Soda, it's way too sweet for my tastes (I love sweet food, but not sweet drinks).
