Since I'm taking a sick day, I watched #Megan2, which was an entirely ridiculous #scifi movie. However, this one moment in the (otherwise uninspiring) final fight gave my chills.
#KillerRobots are going to think and move so much quicker than humans that gravity will simply be much less of a consideration when they are trying to get around. It is terrifying.

#Megan2Point0 feels like a proper sequel.
The first #movie was like a Terminator from TEMU.This new one has now a compelling story and a better budget (the first one gave me some indie vibes).

La saga de películas (dos películas) de M3GAN 🤖 tiene un ligero paralelismo con Terminator. Es como si este robot humanoide fuera la nueva versión del T-800, mucho más avanzado y actualizado a los nuevos tiempos de las redes sociales e inteligencias artificiales actuales.
Si en M3GAN 🤖 (2022) el robot se vuelve loco y quiere matar a todo quisqui, en M3GAN 2 (2025) se convierte en la herramienta o el único ser que puede salvar a la humanidad.
¿Similitudes?
Aparte de esta percepción personal (rayadas mentales que se suelen dar), creo que es una muy buena película del género, con muchos guiños a otras películas que me llaman mucho la atención.
Guiños como... el "Te veo" que M3GAN le dice a uno de los protagonistas como si fuera una Na'vi de Pandora 🪐 (Avatar) o la escena en la que el robot malvado de Amelia, al más puro estilo "Metrópolis" (1927)... y mucho más... me han mantenido con ganas de ver más.
