Maine is a permitless concealed carry state, and I've read it has the second highest rate of gun ownership in the country. Yet apparently not a single good guy with a gun was around to stop Martin Card during his mass shooting.
I'm sure gun rights advocates will argue the only conclusion to be drawn is they need more guns in Maine.
