My wife and I had a very pleasant 7.5km walk today, with a brief pitstop at the #BrewersArmsMalvern at about ⅔ distance (and no more uphills remaining). Don't tell the tourists, but walks along the side of the #MalvernHills are much nicer than ones across the top, and the views are still great

I've just had a lovely walk on the Malvern Hills. I didn't see any buzzards, peregrines or red kites. I saw a lark, but it was perching rather than ascending. The reason might be that the airspace was somewhat crowded, as the photo and video shows.

I have never seen so many paragliders at once, in 35 years of living here. At one point I counted 40 in the air and 15 on the ground.

What Garmin omitted to mention was that the walk nearly killed me! My average heart rate was 135, but that was almost exactly 50% uphill (200m of ascent) followed by the same downhill.

A hazy day on the Malverns. A nice breeze though, so we didn't get too hot on the 8.88km walk from the Wyche to British Camp and back.

There are worse places to live. A quick snap on my early evening walk. The light was beautiful. The view is from #MalvernLink looking up towards the #MalvernHills.
