Went 3-8 in the first round of #TheImposterKings open tournament against possibly the best player in the world. It's 3 points more I thought I'd get.

Went 4-3 in #PD500 with a very streamlined #GlimpseOfTomorrow deck that I built based on a Violet's brew.
But I got a 3-0 in #cube draft with a very sweet deck.
2-1 vs proliferate #aggro, 2-1 vs #ThousandYearStorm, 2-1 vs #KCI.

Getting out of #magic24 slump by drafting everything except for white in #MKM.
I'm very happy that I've stumbled upon the idea of virtual card advantage before Alex and Sam have educated the masses about it.
Bombs don't matter, I was winning without bombs. The key is Vitu Ghazi Inspectors, a ton of self-mill from the leech, panthers, split card and even gorehound and edicts!
I only resolved Izani twice and didn't win both games 😄Wasn't impressed with Hustle // Bustle in this deck at all, probably a Faerie would have been stronger. I think so even though I have attacked with Bustle for lethal once.

#magic24 got weird. I went 1-3 1-3 0-3 1-3 the some days ago, but today and yesterday got two 4-3 finishes. In gold league... But I again get placed against platinum players now. I think I have a solid grasp on the format.
One of the key gameplay outtakes is that not being greedy with strong unmasking triggers and making sure you're being mana-efficient is very important.
For example, if you're the beatdown, there is no reason not to, say, crack a clue and play Concealed Weapon turn 4 instead of playing the Weapon and wasting 1 mana.

Was one non-flooded game away from going 3-0 with this.
2-1 on the draw vs detectives (remove key threats, stall, win with Performer. In: Rage, out: Leech),
1-2 on the draw vs big Disguise (RG Performer, got flooded, so not representative. On the draw In: Macabre Reconstruction, Out: Informant. On the play: In: 2-drop, Out: Informant),
2-1 on the draw vs UW tempo (play around counterspells, force them to tap out, win with huge Robbery. No changes).Notably, I probably misbuilt this and should've ran Alley Assailant main deck instead of the second copy of the Informant.

I'm trying to play #MagicTheGathering every day.
Today was another study in "who's the beatdown".

Cornered Crook felt bad (should've replaced it with Make Your Move!) and there were quite some interesting spots. For example, here perhaps I Galvanize their two-drop?

Went 3-0 in #modern testing, feels really good.
I won't reveal which deck I'm practicing with for #Ghent just yet, and I don't think it's a particularly good meta call, but if I dodge bad matchups, it could be a nice #LCQ for me!
Didn't do much for the past couple of days because I was focusing on work, but I have watched some Andrea Mengucci content to get a grasp on the metagame.

There is still some time to come till the war in #Europe goes full swing, so, while regularly donating to #UAF, I figured I can have just a little bit of fun this year. Not real fun though. More like workout for brain. So my yearly thing this year is highly competitive, as opposed to the previous year, which was highly creative.
Last year I was doing #dungeon23 to my best ability and made quite some cool content, but this year I want to apply deliberate practice to get actually good at #MagicTheGathering. It'll surely not be free, but I'll try to my best to match my MTG expenses with donations to #Ukraine.
I'll be posting about my progress.
