With a $5 box of fencepost staples, we now have carpeted bunks (donated from my rafter hoard of old outdoor carpet). #sailing #m16scow

I took some 80 grit sandpaper to one of the tiller handles and half of the tiller link. I don't think I will have to remake the handles, but the material loss to get to good wood on the link is way too much. I have some red oak from Menards at the ready. We'll see about getting teak or mahogany some other year. #scow #sailing #m16scow
