  1. @ebinger

  2. Struck by the overlaps between Ted Chiang's New Yorker piece newyorker.com/science/annals-o and the arguments in 'Resisting AI'. If you think he's got a point but want more in-depth analysis and a more radical response than 'less harmful capitalism' check out bristoluniversitypress.co.uk/r #TedChiang #ResistingAI #Luddites #LucasPlan

  3. @gleemie Ah, glad I shared then 😀

There's another (shorter, from the time the plan was happening) on YouTube, and a couple of other links to articles about it (inc. another from @smithadrianpaul, who wrote the one you posted) in mcqn.net/mcfilter/archives/thi

And the sections of the book on the #LucasPlan that I dog-eared at mcqn.net/mcfilter/archives/boo

(Think I've run out of related things to bombard you with now 🤣 )

  4. @gleemie This is excellent. I hope you encourage them to share any good proposals 😁

I assume you know of the recent(ish) documentary on the #LucasPlan? theplandocumentary.com/

  5. I'm off to watch the #LucasPlan documentary theplandocumentary.com/ this afternoon, and then take part in a Q&A panel afterwards. In prep I've been looking back over some old blog posts. First off a talk I gave at #FACTLiverpool at their #ClimateForChange event in 2009, pitching what became #DoESLiverpool mcqn.net/mcfilter/archives/liv and then Is the "Maker Movement" a Movement? mcqn.net/mcfilter/archives/thi
