Lower Springs Road between Highway 299 and Valparaiso are open to residents ONLY.

Shasta County Sheriff is advising Mandatory Evacuation Order for Victoria Highlands Dr to Lower Springs Rd south of Highway 299 due to a vegetation fire in the area.

Chp requested for hard closure of Hwy 299 anticipating Fire impact .

The fire is 7 acres with a 10 acre spot fire. There is currently no fill on the aircraft but significant amount of ground resources responding.
