October: Iggy, a Barbastelle bat, was seen flying the corridors of a hospital for days. He was finally caught and rescued and was extremely underweight for the time of year. Bats need to gain weight in order to see them through the cold winter months. Iggy soon settled in and was a treasure to care for. Here he is, enjoying his dinner.
