Milton is a funny little place south of Dunedin. A rural service centre which is also home to the infamous Milton Hilton corrections facility.
For as long as I can remember, visitors were welcomed by large signs at either end of the town which read:
"Milton -- 'The Town of Opportunities'"
We always had a laugh as we passed those signs. "Milton!"
The Clutha District Council is refreshing town signs and while Milton now has a tasteful river scene with some elongated slender man standing on a shallow punt facing sideways across a river, it's apparently no longer a town of opportunities.
They dropped the strapline.
Will Milton ever recover?

The House of Representatives, @KimPerales, impeached Donald Trump twice, but never for his corrupt violation of the Constitution's Emolument Clause. Later, Attorney General Merrick Garland could have prosecuted Trump for corruption, but he also chose to ignore Trump's corruption. This invited Trump to act even more corruptly last year than he did during his first four years as president.

I originally though that the site above Moscone Center (North & South) would have been a GREAT site for a baseball park. If they had done that, they could have also used it for soccer on off days.
Westfield howevr woud not be a good spot except for another retail or office venture.
If you want a downtown soccer field put another level on the Mission St garage and you could probably put it there.
