My first UFO (UnFinished Object) from Mom is now finished. I decided to take and finish items found in her art studio after reading about a group called Loose Threads, which finishes crafts when people pass away or have health issues that stop them from finishing projects.

This was a pillow Mom was working on in 2020, and her sewing machine got a bit off so I got it tuned up that summer, and then she just never finished it. All the appliqué and piecing was done, it just needed to be filled and closed.

I got a pillow form and then used some spare poly stuffing I had on-hand to make the edges and corners more plump. Closing the corner was easy hand-sewing. I will be giving this to Mom for the holidays, as these colors and style moved with her. I think she will be tickled to have this pillow finished and that I sewed it for her.
