Cycling on #LongMynd today. Lots of school groups - some geography field trips, some DofE type expeditions. A few obviously finding the walking heavy going, bless them - but all friendly, courteous, considerate of other walkers - a pleasure to meet them :)

Having had a nice day out at Powys Castle despite feeling ill at all of Sir Clive loot, we stopped on the way back on top of Long Mynd.
The drive up was a little fraught, but we stopped off at Pole Bank car park and by hangar club.
Easy walks through the gauze and following the Jack Myton Way watching the gliders being pulled along on their take offShropshire hills:

An afternoon walk on the Long Mynd in Shropshire. Sadly the sun didn't last, but there were round barrows, stunning scenery and great views of the Wrekin, Clee Hills, Stiperstones and towards the Welsh mountains.
