Longing Heart / My First Love
(2018 - Viki, 10 0:55 eps)Time travel always makes for some great comedy & some philosophical questions. What if we could change something we regret? In this drama, time travel has a lot of loopholes, but as a means to go back & get a different result, it does its job.
The story is somewhat confusing & messy, but in the end finishes up nicely with some unexpected twists. I think part of the problem is that the 2 actors playing present & past don't look enough alike.
A little comedy, a little tragedy, and some tugging at heartstrings make a sweet drama. The romance teeters on the edge of icky with high school/teacher romances but recovers well (if you keep the time slip in mind). The bromance is sweet. The best part is the enduring relationship of all the friends.
