Absolutely brilliant doco. Have seen it twice so far (digi version late last year, then again when the BluRay arrived a couple of months ago) and it is so damn llovely, I may watch it again this week.
Can not recommend it highly enough, now that it's available to all. 🦙

I’m taking some leave today, and so far (apart from the usual housework and shitty admin), I’ve managed to watch the #Llamasoft Heart of Neon documentary (finally!) and my Commodore 64 Ultimate arrived as well! So I’ve been arsing about with BBS boards and demos and a couple of games, and Eliza (for the #ethnomethodology nerds). Absolute bliss.

Non mi era mai capitato di partecipare a un Kickstarter e poi diventarne parte. È incredibile ma è successo. Le prime copie di HEART OF NEON stanno cominciando ad arrivare. È uno dei più completi docufilm dedicati a Llamasoft e Jeff Minter, e io ne ho curato i sottotitoli in italiano. Vi faccio sapere appena arriva. Ciao.

Just got the Heart of Neon blu-ray from Kickstarter delivered: a documentary about the exceptional history of @llamasoft_ox and Llamasoft. A film by Paul Docherty, who also did the documentary parts for Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story by @DigitalEclipse.
I'll be watching it this week!

The last thing I backed on Kickstarter before unemployment has just dropped on the doormat. A Blu-Ray and remix CD about Jeff Minter and Llamasoft called Heart of Neon.
Going to look at flashing lights in the company of a Welsh wizard, his partner Giles, their sheep and knowing them a curry or two.
I miss the days software was developed by personalities then I remember the period 2009-2015 and shake my head.
