Zu Beginn eines Films mache ich gerne ein Spiegelselfie mit der Kamera, damit ich die Filmscans nachher bei der Entwicklung besser dem Equipment zuordnen kann. Auf diesen ersten Frames ist oft ein Lightleak zu sehen, diesmal so als sei ein Blitz durch das Gesicht gefahren.

I recently picked up a subminiature 16mm film camera. A 1970s or 1980s Kiev-30, manufactured at the Arsenal plant in #Ukraine️. Sadly, it had several light leaks in the test roll photos.
I dismantled and repaired this tiny camera, and wrote a blog article about my experiences taking apart this tiny Soviet era camera.

The first pic was 120 #MediumFormat into a #BrownieSix16. Think it not fitting the 616 spools properly is how the #LightLeak happened to create a #DoubleExposure with the backing paper.
The rest are #35mm with pound coin spacers, and shooting the whole film for the widescreen #SprocketHole look. Pics 2 & 4 were on ancient #Paterson #Acupan800 and the dev was guesstimated, hence the grain.
