I was lucky to get a guided tour of the university special collections yesterday. I love how excited and nervous the librarians and archivists were. They seemed to really love their jobs. I think I heard the word "ephemera" more in those 4 hours than in my entire life.

Have you thought about finding likeminded individuals to found a maker space or community garage with shared tools or to create a community tool library sharing group. I think, we should do more of this #CommunityBuilding #LibrariesRock #SharingIsCaring kind of stuff these days. We don't need to buy or own everything for everyone. We can share tools and costs.
