Man the feel of this #typewriter blows the Olympia away. I pulled it out of the box and in less than 4-5 minutes later I had typed up multiple pages of drivel.

Satisfying, tactile drivel. Is this so satisfying because everything in life is so ephemerally digital? Records, then film, now this…there’s something special about being able to hold something in your hands. I’ve even started carrying a small pocket notebook when traveling. These things remind me of childhood and bring such joy, and welcome disconnection.

Some time with some isopropyl and a spray duster and this thing is in tip top shape. Can’t wait to annoy more friends with typed and mailed letters…shoot me a mailing address or PO Box if you want to receive some drivel with some cool stamps on it 😜

Oggi ho fatto vedere agli studenti alcune foto degli iBook G3 a conchiglia colorati. Alcuni non li avevano mai visti (beata gioventù!) e sono piaciuti moltissimo. Poi ho mostrato come non fosse un'idea nuova, ma l'aveva già messa in pista Olivetti con le sue macchine per scrivere Lettera 32.
Risultato? Venerdì prossimo porterò in laboratorio la Lettera 32 verde acqua di mio papà perché c'è chi non ha mai usato niente del genere.
