A veteran police officer has always done as his superiors demanded, even if justice was ignored. Hoping for a promotion, he seeks a connection with an assemblyman of dubious character. Suddenly, a crazy man shows up who won’t tolerate injustice & negatively influences the assemblyman’s support.

Definitely an action thriller, the fight scenes are fabulous, but usually bloody. The 1st several eps. are a wild ride as the crazy man does one unexpected thing after another. We get bromance, great sr. & jr. cop friends, and a bit of romance too.

An unusual depiction of the fairly common K-drama childhood trauma story makes for some surprising twists. There is a bit of a slump in the middle as the various crimes get sorted, but overall, an exciting & interesting watch.

A suspenseful, action-packed, violent (but appropriate) story of an uncle who is involved in shady dealings, dying & leaving his 20-something niece alone to protect herself & resolve these shady dealings.

She has to learn who to trust. The FL (at all ages) is acted phenomenally. She lives such a complicated life & conveys all the emotions without much dialogue. The familial bond with Lee Dong Wook can be felt through the screen.

Very well acted, with beautiful fighting, great music, unique gadgets & weapons, surprising villains & allies. The mystery is smart & fresh and will keep you guessing.

It has closure, but does allow for the story to continue. Crossing my fingers for a 2nd season!

I'll happily rewatch this show with fabulous sound and a "romance" that I really loved: mutual respect and admiration.
So far, @whoosh and I have watched 3 episodes of #AShopForKillers and it's pretty epic right from the get-go. Zero filler, all of the action and suspense. Also, a really cool shift in character for #LeeDongWook. Looking forward to seeing how this plays out. So far, the sound is even more awesome than that in #Happiness. Also, cinematography.

I put off watching the last episode because I knew it would be rough.Yep, I spent 1/2 of it crying. I liked it overall, but it had good points & bad. Lee Dong Wook & Kim Bum were amazing. I honestly cried more about their relationship than the main couple's. I didn't feel a lot of chemistry from the lead couple. I dislike it when an actress' character starts strong and then becomes a damsel in distress. The villain's casting was also off for me.

After the first conflict, the script was floundering. It came back together in the end. Since I ended up in tears, the story definitely moved me. The brothers, the 2nd couple, and the bickering "grandparents" made the story worth watching. For me, this one is probably not a rewatch. After seeing LDW in this, I'm really looking forward to seeing him in Goblin & TOTNT1938.
