Hi @fds2610 , The german template is available in setup.pl when you create a new company ; the content is also stored in our repository (https://github.com/ledgersmb/LedgerSMB/blob/master/locale/coa/de/General.xml). As for configuration of tax rates, there's a section in the #ledgersmb #book at https://book.ledgersmb.org/dev/split-book/sec-tax-account-configuration.html
The chart of accounts is in the menu "General Journal > Chart of Accounts".

@jaywll it really depends...
I have dev servers with one database instance running in Docker with hundreds of individual databases.
But for one app (#LedgerSMB) I have two different Postgres containers, one for my test/stage instance and one for live/production. This makes it really easy to shut down both containers, and copy the volume from live to the test instance, then start up.
