Keep an eye on the presentations when they’ll be published. A lot of them are worth watching. The conference value lies in the networking though.

Slowly coming back to the community events

I have been in Berlin (#LeadDevBerlin) and Sweden (#Øredev24) this week, and I messed up my travel plans so I ended up with no way of getting home to Manchester yesterday. I'm autistic, and this kind of sudden disruption can really throw me for a loop. Hence finding myself in the middle of a conference in floods of tears...

I've attended #LeadDevBerlin this week. After moving to Berlin, this is my first big conference. It was a distant dream, working in Brazil, to attend @TheLeadDev, due to travel and costs. I had the opportunity, for example, to see Lara Hogan (@lara) and actually talk to her after the talk. Her content helped me a lot when I started as an Engineering Manager, and I'm really grateful. So attending this conference gave me the motivation I needed to continue in this career path.
