⟦ Il 50° anniversario della Giornata della Terra ( #LandDay) il 30 marzo, è caduto quest’anno nel bel mezzo di una drammatica guerra regionale, ma la questione della terra palestinese è stata decisa da tempo, almeno all’interno dei confini israeliani del 1948.
Non ci resta che commemorare quel giorno del 1976, quando sembrava che la protesta avesse lasciato il segno e che potessimo festeggiare la nostra vittoria sullo Stato. Da allora, però, i palestinesi in #Israele sono stati costretti a una realtà in cui ogni protesta ha un costo personale reale. ⬇️2

On Sunday, 29 March 2026 – one day before ‘Land Day’ (Yom al-Ard) – we invite you to the Sputnik Cinema at 5 pm. 🎬
We will be screening the Oscar-winning documentary ‘No Other Land’ – free of charge.
Over the course of five years, the film follows the residents of Masafer Yatta, a community in the southern West Bank that is particularly threatened by Israeli settlement policy.
After the film, we will discuss the current situation on the ground – which has deteriorated significantly once again – with activists.

Wir zeigen den Oscar prämierten Dokumentarfilm „No Other Land“ - kostenlos.
Der Film begleitet über fünf Jahre die Bewohner*innen von Masafer Yatta, einer Gemeinde im südlichen Westjordanland, die durch die israelische Siedlungspolitik ganz besonders bedroht ist.
Im Anschluss an den Film sprechen wir mit Aktivist*innen gemeinsam über die aktuelle Situation vor Ort, die sich noch einmal deutlich verschlechtert hat.

March 30 marks Land Day, a powerful day of remembrance and resistance for Palestinians. It commemorates the events of March 30, 1976, when Palestinians protested the confiscation of their land and faced violent repression. Today, it remains a symbol of the ongoing struggle for land, rights, and justice.
This day is also rooted in sumud — the Palestinian concept of steadfastness, resilience, and the refusal to be uprooted.
Your presence matters. Showing up is a way to stand in solidarity, to be visible, and to make it clear that this struggle is not forgotten.

Wat is Landdag? Op 30 maart 1976 doodde Israëlische politie zes Palestijnse demonstranten en verwondde honderden. Deze gebeurtenis wordt jaarlijks herdacht als Landdag. Het is een dag om stil te staan bij het verleden, maar ook bij wat er nu gebeurt: tienduizenden doden in Gaza, de vernietiging van huizen, scholen en ziekenhuizen, en een uibreiding van de genocide naar de Westelijke Jordaanoever.
Kom de 29e naar de protestmars vanaf het Spui in Amsterdam. Eer de moed van 1976, en sta met elkaar stil bij de huidige genocide en de opkomst van Islamhaat en fascisme. ✊

On Saturday a large crowd in Seattle gathered at Union Park to commemorate Land Day, honoring Palestinian struggles to maintain land.
The group left Union Park for streets south of Mercer St, with organized bike and safety brigades keeping marchers safe along the way.
After around an hour 1/2 of safely marching to numerous areas, the group returned to Union Park for additional speeches and prayer.

Today Vancouver joins the world to commemorate Palestinian Land Day. On March 30, 1976, Israel confiscated thousands of acres of Palestine land.
