"Attention Sin City Radio Operators
Tonight at midnight, 50,000 watt News Talk 840AM KXNT will be going off the air permanently. Dan W7IVK has produced a short program which will be aired before the transmitter is shut down. It will include a Slow Scan TV image and Morse code tribute. If you make a recording of the broadcast, you can play the recording back and decode the SSTV image using the free "Robot36" Android app, among others. You may hear other stations from far away on 840kHz after KXNT is QRT. Be listening at 11:45PM Pacific time for this tribute to radio."
