@ErikJonker "Legitimate interest" is their favorite catch-all phrase. The Austrian credit rating company Kreditschutzverband has a full history of all addresses I have ever lived at (at least those in Austria). When I asked them to delete it, their lawyers sent me a letter stating that they have legitimate interest. #ksv1870

In fact, I thought this had been ruled illegal already (https://noyb.eu/de/gewonnen-grossteil-der-datenbank-von-kreditauskunftei-crif-illegal) thanks to @noybeu , but apparently the Kreditschutzverband disagrees.

Ich hatte schon öfters mit der #DSGVO zu tun aber Artikel 22 war mir nicht mehr geläufig:

"(1) Die betroffene Person hat das Recht, nicht einer ausschließlich auf einer automatisierten Verarbeitung – einschließlich #Profiling – beruhenden Entscheidung unterworfen zu werden, die ihr gegenüber rechtliche Wirkung entfaltet oder sie in ähnlicher Weise erheblich beeinträchtigt. [... Ausnahmen usw. ...]"
