Even though I do not revel in I.O.I nostalgia to the same degree as do so many other fans, I am enjoying the "Suddenly" promotion, with the exception of their M Countdown 260521 live stage, marred as it was for me by outfits I found hideous .

The styling is a good deal better here. Not a #BigClumpyBoot to be seen, thank goodness!

The song itself has really grown on me in the past few days.

Although iron rules for styling do not exist, unfussy simplicity of the type seen here can work wonders.

Like "Zap", "Work" has grown on me.

I think this is the last stage of the current promotion. What a shame that they did not win on any of the music shows. Perhaps they would have done if "The Show" were still running.

In this live stage one can hear that the two strongest vocalists are Minami (black jacket and black skirt) and Liv (argyle knit top and black skirt).

@pixelcats and I will just have to agree to disagree about the big clumpy boots, but I hope I'm not alone in admiring the stylist's coordination of the colours.

My bias Liv looks so good with that hairstyle.

Feeling quite energized at the moment, as a consequence of that strange amalgam of a poor night's sleep being followed by a successful day in the classroom.

So I feel oddly buzzed and will therefore create a thread about a stage from one of my favourite groups, RESCENE.

Since I keep a playlist of my favourite groups performing in all black outfits, this stage was an immediate save for me. There is a lot to like here both to hear and to see, but I'm afraid I have to draw attention to a styling horror -- the footwear.

Yesterday I noted the delicately understated white shoes that the girls wore for their 260415 Show Champion

No such luck today. The boots they wear resemble some orthopedic footwear, or perhaps, just as bad if not worse, what visitors to Disneyland see on ...

As well as enjoying the choreo, I find so much that is pleasing here: the unified but not uniform white outfits; the not clumpy shoes, pretty in their inconspicuous delicacy and so suitable for dancing; the braids* sported by my bias Liv...this whole comeback is proving to be a delight!

*I prefer the American English "braids" to British English "pigtails".

I have never been an ardent fan of Kiss Of Life, and seem to remember finding that their recent releases grated with me.

So even though "Who Is She" is not going to make it on to my Best of 2026 playlist, it still came as a pleasant surprise to me because I found myself enjoying it, especially the prechorus and chorus itself, though I'm not sure about that "uh uh" post chorus. A pleasure contrary to expectations is doubly sweet.

This stage impressed me by showing how striking a pink and black combination can be.

Should Haneul's top under the pink jacket have been just silver rather than green and silver?

This is a Kep1er track that I haven't posted before. The B side "Back To the City" is an absolute banger and should probably have been the title track, but I'm not choosing that today because I've posted it more than once before.

Over the years the kittenishness of "Giddy" has seduced me, so that I find myself playing it more than I would have imagined on its initial release.

This stage is my selection, even though Chaehyun couldn't dance, because the glitter and gloves glamour appeals to me so much more than the horrid athleisurey things they wore for the MV, PV, Studio Choom and so on.
