Oh right! I forgot to mention that I did finish the snap assembly for the Grande scale Baselard, but I am putting them on hold as seeing the actual size, realizing this may be great to scribe, and that I don’t feel comfortable painting eyes(yet) I need to rethink my approach on this.

Finished painting Xiao and really love how this came out. Especially impressed with Gaahleri Kaleido Colorworks paints, but also learned a lot from this kit that I'll be applying to my next projects.
Will be doing a long form post of this later with better photos. It's my first Poni Mofu and won't be the last.

Reviewing the plastic models I built in the first half of this year.
1) Penelope (1/144) : I could bring out the kit's potential and make it look better, Within the limits of my modelling skill.
2) I-401 (1/700) : demonstrate one of my own approach, in terms of applying scale-modeling techniques to character-based kits.
3) Gii : refine the details, using additional items such as nail art stickers, while maintaining the kit's basic shape.

I only just opened the box for Meltina to start organizing and have 2 things snapped off the runners. I am hoping this is the worst thing to happen this round lol...
Photos don't really do the colour justice though. Its very pretty and I am reconsidering if I want to paint it.

New plastic kit: Meltina by Kotobukiya.
The original color of this Lamia is pink, but I repainted it green as a Japanese ratsnake.
It may also seem like a half-anthropomorphized Chinese divine dragon (Ryuu: 龍) with the long chrome green body. The snake-body is 50cm long with 23 movable segments.(*Notice: images show the young woman with snake-like lower body)
