Two pole vaulters flew over the bar on their final attempt at 4.90 & fell short on their three attempts at 4.95. They decided to share the gold medal!
“I kind of looked at her and said, ‘Hey, girl, you maybe wanna share this?' And the relief on her face - and you could see it on my face - and it was mutual... You know, we’ve been friends for so long so it’s super special.”
