The law is intended to extinguish developer agreements that ban software creators from informing customers that they can get a better deal by initiating payments elsewhere, or by getting a service through the web instead of via an app.
In response, Apple, has instituted a #JunkFee it calls the "#CoreTechnologyFee": EUR0.50/install for every installation over 1m. As Proton writes, as apps grow more popular, using third-party payment systems will grow less attractive.

Tucker's point is that when a worker clocks out of their bad job, commutes home for three hours, and gets back to their black-mold-saturated, overpriced apartment to find a notice of a new #JunkFee (like a surcharge for paying your rent in cash, by check, *or* by direct payment), they're fighting the *very same* corporations.
Unions who defend their workers' right to shelter do every tenant a service.

Ticketmaster is such a pain in the ass.... charge me close to $20 in junk fees and then they won't even let me print my ticket. Worse yet, every time I try to go to the website to view my ticket or to manage my ticket I get an error that something went wrong. This company needs to die.... It's unfathomable that I have to pay fees for them to only make more money off of data stolen from my phone.
