It’s a very sports fan thing to be sad when a colour commentator retires, but I am, so I am. John Garrett, colour guy to John Shorthouse play-by-play for the Vancouver Canucks retired tonight. He was a rare voice that knew when NOT to add in his two cents. He also seemed to be a funny, and kind guy, and never afraid to admit he was a great example of how not to be the best NHL goalie. 😆 Thanks “Cheech”. #NHL #Canucks #Cheech #JohnGarrett
