  1. This came up in another context and now I've got it churning around in my head. There's a lot of albums that are intended to be listened to start to finish. These days that's not how people tend to listen to music. So here I am, encouraging (begging) folks to (please) try listening to certain albums from start to finish. I'm just starting with a few that pop to mind. I'm hoping a few of the other old folks out there might add to the list

    The Wall by Pink Floyd
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band by The Beatles
Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd
Days of Future Past by The Moody Blues

I decided on a criteria for this where either it's telling a story (The Wall) or the whole album was a concept (Dark Side of the Moon). I know there's a fair number of prog rock albums out there where, like, one side of it is A Thing and the other side is ancillary or tangential stuff.

Anyway, hope the few of you who read my stuff feel moved to add to the list. 😊
