México envía más de 2 mil metros cúbicos de ayuda humanitaria a Venezuela en buques de la Marina
La Secretaría de Marina (Semar) y la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE) enviaron más de 2 mil metros cúbicos de ayuda humanitaria a Venezuela en dos buques de la Armada de México. El cargamento incluye alimentos, agua, medicamentos, insumos médicos y plantas potabilizadoras.

Más de 2 mil metros cúbicos de ayuda humanitaria partieron este fin de semana desde el puerto de Veracruz con destino a Venezuela, como parte de una operación coordinada por la Secretaría de Marina (Semar) y la Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (SRE) para apoyar a la población afectada por contingencias.
Los buques de la Armada de México Isla Holbox (BAL-02) y Huasteco (AMP-01) zarparon con un cargamento integrado por alimentos, agua embotellada, artículos de higiene personal, medicamentos, insumos médicos y equipo para el suministro de agua potable. El tiempo estimado de navegación es de seis días.
La operación responde a una instrucción de la presidente Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, quien ordenó el traslado de asistencia humanitaria hacia Venezuela como parte de la política de cooperación internacional del gobierno federal.
¿Qué ayuda envía México a Venezuela?
El buque Isla Holbox transporta aproximadamente 1,750 metros cúbicos de ayuda humanitaria, entre ellos víveres, agua embotellada, medicamentos e insumos médicos.
Además, lleva cuatro plantas potabilizadoras con capacidad para producir 1,000 litros de agua purificada por hora, junto con el personal especializado encargado de su operación.
Por su parte, el Huasteco traslada 253 metros cúbicos adicionales de alimentos, agua embotellada, artículos de higiene e insumos médicos.

En total, el envío suma 2,003 metros cúbicos de apoyo destinados a atender las necesidades de la población venezolana.
Ayuda fue concentrada en Veracruz
Los insumos enviados por el gobierno federal provienen de donaciones recibidas en diversos centros de acopio instalados en la ciudad de México y fueron concentrados en el muelle de la Administración del Sistema Portuario Nacional (ASIPONA) Veracruz, donde se realizaron las maniobras de carga.
Para la operación fueron desplegados 100 elementos navales de las Brigadas de Respuesta ante Emergencias (BRE) de la Primera Región Naval, además de una grúa y dos montacargas utilizados en las labores de embarque y traslado.
Se suma al envío de plantas de energía
La Semar informó que esta misión complementa el envío realizado durante la semana de un avión que transportó ocho plantas de energía eléctrica con destino a Venezuela.
Las dependencias federales señalaron que la operación contó con la colaboración de empresas, fundaciones y organizaciones de la sociedad civil que participaron con donaciones para integrar la ayuda humanitaria.
El gobierno federal indicó que este envío forma parte de las acciones de cooperación y asistencia internacional que México mantiene con países de América Latina afectados por emergencias y desastres naturales. –sn–

México envía ayuda humanitaria a Cuba, a través de dos buques de la Secretaría de Marina-Armada de México (Semar).

La Secretaría de Marina-Armada de México (Semar) envió ayuda humanitaria a la República de Cuba, a través de los Buques de Apoyo Logístico Papaloapan e Isla Holbox. Ambos barcos zarpan hoy del puerto de Veracruz con una carga de más de 814 toneladas de víveres destinados a la población civil de la isla de Cuba.
«Los víveres provenientes de la Región Naval Central se concentraron en el muelle de la Administración del Sistema Portuario Nacional (Asipona) Veracruz, desde donde se realizó el embarque correspondiente», dijo la autoridad a través de un comunidado.
El Buque Papaloapan transporta alimentos de primera necesidad, entre los que destacan leche líquida, productos cárnicos, galletas, frijol, arroz, atún en agua, sardina y aceite vegetal, así como artículos de higiene personal, con una carga de alrededor de 536 toneladas de esos bienes.
Por su parte, en el Buque Isla Holbox, se embarcaron poco más 277 toneladas de leche en polvo para atenciones de ese mismo fin.
Es importante destacar que el buque Papaloapan zarpó del Puerto de Veracruz esta mañana a las 8 horas y el navío Isla Holbox al mediodía. Se espera que arriben a su destino en cuatro días. Informamos que aún quedan más de mil 500 toneladas de leche en polvo y frijol pendientes de ser enviadas. –sn–
