Today, I learned that a "bookazine" is a thing... it involves elements of both a book and a magazine. Unlike a magazine, it can use an ISBNs, whereas magazines use ISSNs... Also Bookazine [https://bookazine.com] is a global distributor... so... if you're ever out there trying to figure out how to subscribe to a magazine's future issues, but it doesn't have an ISSN for you to give to your librarian, check the cover & see if you see a Bookazine logo on it anywhere... might explain things. Also remember to breathe because sometimes new information can be overwhelming...
That said, might someone be a friendly lamb & let me know if it's possible to subscribe to future editions? This is the 10th edition -- idk how often they might publish more. It appears this one was initially published in DEC2022.

Angenommen, ich veröffentliche ein E-Book (Epub und PDF) unter einer CC-Lizenz, stelle das über eine Plattform zur Verfügung und erstelle unregelmässig Updates (versioniert). Es würde sich um ein Sachbuch handeln, also keine Belletristik.
1. Braucht dann jedes Update eigene ISBN?

I managed to remember an ISBN on the evening of the day I looked it up, and from the way people looked at me when I recited it, you'd've thought I'd performed some epic feat of memory, like...remembering the names and faces of people I've met multiple times.
My Dad, by contrast, still remembers the odd ISBN from when he worked at a bookshop in the early 80s, *and* he knows who people are.
