That #FountainPen I posted about yesterday, with the pics on @[email protected], it don’t work so well with the #IronGall #Ink.

So I have a different ink in it today. Some Noodler’s Legal Blue.

Cellulose-binding inks such as that also tend to give pens trouble, but not as much. Anyway, the particular IG ink looked splotchy with this floppy titanium nib.

I just moved my #titanium #nib from one #Jinhao Centennial to another, and filled the thing with some clear Stipula #ironGall #ink. I should take a photo later.

Hopefully the ink will behave well in the #FountainPen. Though the ink being practically clear going on is annoying. I was curious about it, a non-blue-black iron gall.

(My favorite iron gall is Rohrer & Klingner Scabiosa.)

Note to self: Do NOT use the old 'lick the nib' trick to start up a dried fountain pen if the ink inside is iron gall. It tastes like blood. Eugh.
