Welcome to September everyone
As the new academic year approaches I wanted to take a moment to plug my book in order to raise awareness it exists
If you or any of those you mentor/supervise/teach are entering a phase where they are thinking about further study, or if you have any new PhD students starting, I wrote this book to try and help
It takes you all the way through from deciding where to study, to how to improve your confidence around outreach and public speaking. Even if you aren't aiming for a PhD I hope it might offer some tips and guidance you'll find useful
There are a lot of 'how to' books out there, but I wanted to start with why, and move on from there
