My university applications were successful! I have two offers and am deciding between them. UNE is excellent for online learning, while Deakin is great with accessibility and based in Melbourne. Both programs are similar, though Deakin has more electives, while UNE’s writing major is broader. At Deakin, I could specialise in professional writing, which is my main interest. Imagine doing an online Masters, and there is only one paper copy of prescribed text.
The digital text can only be viewed by one person at a time. You cannot copy it, use text-to-speech and printing is limited to 50 pages.
The library refuses to change digital access.

Death Literacy Barbie rides again!
Thank you ACAP Navitas in Sydney for a phenomenal four hours of engaged and curious, switched on Masters of Psychology class. Part of the life stages unit, I taught older adults, death literacy, meaning-making, advance planning, icebreaker conversation starters, and grief. We got through a LOT in four hours!
Big fun, cannot wait to come back.

The increased popularity of D&D as a cultural criminological phenomenon because it lets us take action against injustice in a world where we feel constantly disempowered.
People have already written a lot about this with regards to superheroes and comics etc, especially in relation to the whole War on Terror post 9-11 thing.
