Update on the #BarnCat. They told me I can take him home if I want. I really want to, but I don't think he likes other cats, so he'd have to live in my shop, at least temporarily. It's roughly 28' x 18' which is still a sizable space, and I'm out there all the time, but he'd be an #IndoorCat. (With supervised harness walks.)
It might take him time to get used to being a #ShopCat, and I'd need help covering the initial #Vet visits to get him healthy again, but bringing him home seems like the best long term option for him.
Does anyone have any insight?

Poppy got out earlier!! 😩 She can open doors.. so we normally lock the doors.. TWO were either left open or not locked.
Lucky she got scared and hid in some bushes / meowed back as I called for her.
I had to wade around a thicket of brambles, but couldn't get near enough..
Fortunately she was spooked enough by my clumsy noises to move back towards the house, find the open door and go inside.
