  1. @VinCrosbie @DrProf With you 100%, but I do think writers need a less-of-a-mouthful two or three syllable synonym or abbrev. for "#individuated." ;-)
    Too bad "Indy" is taken by "independent" or Indianapolis, and IV/Ivy by some elite colleges.
    I was sad that the ambiguous "interactive media," rather than meaning two-way communication, became a label for anything a user could click on and (Macromedia Flash era) watch dance around, or fill in a blank or two.

    Are some folks using #commodon for "communication via Mastodon" while others are using it for "computer science on Mastodon"? Are some using it for "computational communication" crossover posts only? Or for academic "communication studies" on Mastodon?

    (Not to be confused with the maybe antiquated "Mass Comm," as the mass audience has become 21st century #individuated )

    Or are some folks just caught up in all of the excitement and misspelling #commotion?
