Okay, so to answer a question about my vaccinations, I went and checked my vaccination record. It is held by a site associated with the state of Maryland.
During the log in process, they send a code to my old landline phone. I still have access to this number because I've ported it to an eSIM. However, it is luck that I still can access it.
This is stupid, yes, but tie your hat, things are about to get way waaaaaaaaay stupider.
1. I check my records. My address hasn't been updated. So I update it. However, the ONLY phone number I have in my records is the correct one. :headache: Why the fuck are they sending a code to a phone number which is NOT in my records. :why:
2. I want to complain about it. I fill the form. When I put Maryland as my state, they send me to site of the state government. However, the form there is for requesting records. That's not what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to FIX the phone number they have to send me a code. :headache:
3. I find a way to send the first form I came to, on the original web site. I just specified my state as "Unknown" and filled a bit more information. Then they sent me an email sending me to the fucking CDC!!! Yes, because the CDC is responsible for this bullshit, sure! :headache:
I'm sure no one is going to read my reply, but you can read it in the following screenshot.
I can only conclude that their site was coded by idiots, and now has idiots for CSRs. Bravo, idiots!

This decision did not follow established procedure for #vaccine policy recommendations and threatens an increase in vaccine-preventable diseases in children nationwide.
