Trotz enormer Probleme mit meiner Technik bin ich mit dem Ergebnis ganz zufrieden. Etwa 2 1/2 Stunden Belichtungszeit über 2 Nächte. Einmal von einer Bortel 3-4 Gegend und eine Nacht vom heimischen Garten aus.

#SkyWatch #Astrophotography #IC1396 is a large cloud of ionized gas about 2400 light years from Earth in the #Cepheus constellation. It contains the #ElephantTrunk nebula, a long dense pocket of dust and gas just to the left of the bright blue star at its center. Our nights have been so cloudy that I got up at 3:30 this morning to capture two hours of exposures while the sky was finally clear. IC1396 could use a lot more exposure time to really bring out the colors. #StillLearning
