Got in car, set up HF radio, reset car's MPG meter and started commute home. Out onto highway, found big boxy trucks to follow, 80-100 kph in the slow lane.
Cross the valley, climb the mountain, spin the dial, scan the bands.
Radio needs no looking at; controls are familiar, so are HF bands. Listen.
No good opportunity to speak, but plenty to hear.
Finish up 45m later, roll quietly through neighborhood on electric motor. Home, park. Looked at car's MPG: 92.0

Slide in behind, decent number car lengths back, let off accelerator pedal, wobble along in the slipstream, let the truck punch the hole through the air, while I gain a few percent in efficiency.
Internal combustion engine stops, electric motor keeps me properly behind the truck, drafting along, at about 100 kmh.

It's just a Toyota.
I do drive most boringly, over in the slow lane, staying under 60MPH, using regenerative braking, drafting maybe a semi at safe distance long as it's not a damn rock tosser. I take my time, play a music stream, chill.
Then mileage climbs up and up..

Wenn ich alleine unterwegs bin und niemanden hinter mir habe, dann fahre ich schon mal 70km/h statt 100km/h und 50-60km/h statt 70km/h. 🤫
Nur wenn ich merke, dass hinten jemand kommt, gehe ich auf die vorgeschriebene Geschwindigkeit. Will ja niemensch ausbremsen. 😅

Sonntags am Ende des langen Wochenendes ist echt teigig auf der Bahn. Bin zurück zwar wenn frei war bis 170-180 gefahren, aber keine Chance den 100er Schnitt zu halten. Hin 6std. Fahrzeit, zurück über 7.5.
Stellt sich raus, mit dem #ioniq38 muss man schnell fahren und viel laden auf Langstrecke um die Ladeleistung zu kompensieren. Nur bis 60+% aufladen bei 46kw und 100-120km weiter, dann von vorne.
Mehr als 15kwh/100km werden es im Mittel nicht.

Die alten #ionity sind ganz schön zickig. Mehrere Anläufe bis die Kommunikation mitm #ioniq38 wollte. Andere Leute mit versch. Fabrikaten hatten ebenfalls Probleme. Hier Bruchsal Ost. 15min Pause brauche ich bis ich wieder am Auto bin, jetzt warte ich 20min aufs Auto. Mit 15% angesteckt, muss rauf auf >70. #hypermiling #eMobility

Morgen übers lange Wochenende endlich mal meine Junx von der Uni wiedersehen. 600km Tour mitm #ioniq38, ich alleine mit bissel Gepäck, Reifen auf 2.8bar. Mal sehen was da verbrauchsmäßig so geht. Fahr- bzw. Ladezeit leider schlecht, ist halt ne Ladeschnecke. Ca. 7 Std inkl. Ladepausen.
Diesmal mit #mobilize Abo von Renault wieder #ionity für 39cent.

Kassensturz nach dem #Urlaub, wieviel Strom haben wir verfahren, was hat es gekostet:
550kwh Strom auf ca. 3000km zu insgesamt 205€
Da ist die initiale Ladung @home mit drin (Mischpreis 18cent/kwh) sowie Monatsgebühr für #Bonnet boost und #ionity passport power.
Das macht 6,83€/100km und ca. 18,3kwh/100km. (1/x)

150km Etappe, von 75% runter auf 10%, mehr geht mit der Kiste und der Ladung einfach nicht. Klima aus, war zum Glück auch nicht nötig, und 120kmh und ggf. weniger.

Bei #ionity den power passport gekauft für 7.99€ für Juli. Damit fahren wir im Urlaub 3000+km und laden in DE für 39cent und in FR sogar für 33cent.
Habe mal grob überschlagen mit 18kwh/100km und komme auf ca 7.3€/100km. Da wird die Luft beim Verbrenner betanken ganz schön dünn. Bei 1.70€/l darf der Koffer nur 4.3l/100km verbrauchen.
Der passport ist monatlich kündbar btw. 7.99 im ersten Monat, danach 11.99€.

Haben gerade eine Ferienbutze fürn Sommer reserviert. Gleiche Ecke wie zuletzt, aber diesmal Anreise mit Übernachtung, kein nightshift-Thriller mit dem Ionenentkalker mehr. 🙃
Stellt sich raus, wenn man mit 100% Akku losfährt und bei der Übernachtung wieder auf 100% aufladen kann während man pennt, steht man auf der Fahrt (1200km) nur noch insgesamt 7mal am CCS-Nuckel.
Ja, die Lernkurve war steil gewesen.
Frankreich, wir kommen.
