And what's extra difficult is that while we're following our breadcrumb trail of seemingly random associations, we generally get interrupted every other thought with NTs' messages that we think wrong, we learned wrong, we're just doing it wrong, ad infinitum ad nauseam. It's exhausting.

@jk This thread & all the replies describe my life.

Most of the time, in order to remember to look at the list I've made, I have to put it somewhere it will be a physical obstacle to future me *enough to make future me irritated*.

It now occurs to me that this might somehow be the explanation for the mystery of why I found a pair of my sweatpants in the freezer.

Anyway, yeah, #ADHD is exhausting.

STATUS: in an entire SEASON of #ADHD #hyperfixation on #WRITING

GOOD! I'm accomplishing oh so very much #wordsmith-ing! Yay!

NOT GOOD! I'm completing ~5% of tasks & other projects that *need* *my* attention!

Also, spouse & offspring are making noises about missing me?😬

Also, I live in the hope that during my literal 6-8 hours of daily butt-in-chair writing, something external will remind me to drink water & eat. 🫤
