Currently, my brain is enjoying a hyper fixation on gaming in general and the Remedyverse in particular. It's an idea that has been mulling inside my mind for many months, but now taking manifest.

I want to build my very own "yacht" of sorts, single floor, solar powered, with a sail I can put up if need be. Perhaps a small diesel generator for emergencies.

I've already done #Vanlife, now I want #Boatlife

I have gotten quite a few hyperfixations over the past couple of months, mostly about pop culture:
The Murderbot Diaries (the novels and the TV series)
Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein
Heated Rivalry (the novel and the TV series)
and now The Night Manager (season 2)

With the exception of Murderbot, all of these hyperfixation have led me to write fanfictions and/or to draw/paint fan artworks.
And now I wonder what hyperfixation will be next.🤔

#Question for #neurodivergent folks.
I only found out only last year what a #hyperfixation is, though having these for years myself. In my case, these are often in combination with celebrity crushes.

What I would like to know, do you know any recommendable texts online about hyperfixations? I'd appreciate links to those.

And how do you deal with your hyperfixations? Go with the flow? Suppress them? Dive right into them? Something else?
